Thermohouse was established in 2006 and is one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of Low Energy Building Systems, employing over 80 people in the local area. Our building system is produced in our Irish manufacturing facility in Killarney, and distributed throughout The UK & Ireland. We manufacture, supply and install a complete low energy building system, comprising of interlocking walls, floor and roof modules. Thermohouse Homes are A-rated and meet and exceed the EU’s ‘nearly Zero Energy Building’ (NZEB) Directive for new builds, along with the UK Future Homes Standard.

Product Details

Thermowall blocks are assembled in staggered courses, and due to their interlocking surfaces, this can be done quickly and easily. Steel rebar is placed into the wall cavity and then filled with concrete.

The floor panels, which can span up to 8M can be manually placed in position. The floor panels have “tongue & groove” interlocking joints along their edges, enabling rapid installation. The roof panel design enables rapid installation. Thermoroof panels can accommodate any roof design and can support the integration of solar panels. The Thermoboard insulated panels are rapidly installed and designed with underfloor heating in mind.

The Thermohouse system can be used to deliver any building design, whether contemporary or traditional. Our walls and roofs can incorporate any style or finish desired. The Thermohouse Building System gives you a solid, reinforced concrete building which achieves exceptional airtightness and low U-values, whilst being up to 60% faster to build than traditional methods.

Training/CPD Courses Offered

We offer training seminars to discuss ICF and EPS low energy building systems and its uses for the energy efficient construction of new buildings. We will provide you with an overview of the multiple systems on the market, their value and the future potential of this form of construction in the UK. Following the seminar, we will be happy discuss any projects you may be working on at the moment, offer technical advice, arrange a meeting with a member of our technical support team, a visit to one of our active sites, or prepare a quotation for you free of charge.
